CUMBRIA’S Police and Crime Commissioner Richard Rhodes has announced new support services for victims of crime in the county.
From April 1 victim referrals which were previously forwarded to a Victim Care Unit in Manchester will now be handled in Cumbria.
MORE TOP STORIES: Mr Rhodes said: "This new grant agreement is a step change for services locally.
“The new Victim Care Unit will ensure that victims of crime in Cumbria receive the advice, help and support appropriate to their need.”
