A THIRD defibrillator was officially handed over by Carnforth Rotary Club President Bill Reading to villagers living in Bolton-le-Sands.

The new defibrillator was donated by members of Carnforth Rotary Club and was jointly funded by a grant from Rotary International District 1190 Cumbria and Lancashire.

Mike Craddock, deputy leader of Bolton-le-Sands Parish Council and a Carnforth Rotarian, was unable to be present, but worked with Immediate Past Rotary District Governor, Kevin Walsh to arrange the grant.

The new defibrillator is located outside Brookfield Surgery and was accepted by Dr David Wrigley, Senior Partner and Linda Bowker, Senior Manager from Ashtrees Surgery, Carnforth.

The other two machines are located inside the SPAR shop.
