A HIKER was airlifted to hospital from a Lake District fell after disclocating both his knees.
The 67-year-old, from Blackpool, was walking on Pike of Carrs, Langdale, yesterday (Sunday) afternoon when he suffered a fall.
He was assisted at the scene by members of Langdale and Ambleside mountain rescue team and a doctor from the Great North Air Ambulance before being flown to Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle.
