Motorcyclist killed after collision with car near Kendal
POLICE have confirmed the identity of the man who died in a road traffic collision on Saturday (April 18).
The man who died was Roger Eccleston, 57, of The Fairway, Nuneaton, Warwickshire.
The incident occurred at around 1:50pm on the A5074, approximately four miles north of Gilpin Bridge, near Kendal.
Mr Eccleston was driving a silver Yamaha Fazer motorcycle which collided with a green coloured Mercedes car. The driver of the Mercedes was uninjured in the collision.
Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to call Cumbria Police on 101 and ask for PC Kevin Jackson.
