A MOTORCYCLIST has died in hospital less than a week after being involved in a collision at Witherslack.
Paul Whiteside, of Ulverston, suffered serious injuries in the smash on the A590 on Wednesday, April 22,
The 65-year-old was riding his Honda motorbike when he collided with a white Volkwagon Tiguan at around 6pm.
Mr Whiteside was airlifted to Royal Preston Hospital where it was believed that his injuries were non life-threatening.
But the Ulverston man died at the hospital on the evening of Saturday (April 25).

Cumbria Police said the coronor had been informed.
The driver of the car was uninjured.
