TWO pensioners were taken to hospital with chest injuries after a crash on a South Lakeland road.
Cumbria Police was called out to the scene of the two vehicle smash on the B6254 at Old Hutton on Saturday (April 25) at around 12.50pm.
A black Renault Scenic, driven by a man from Lancaster, and a black Honda Jazz, driven by a 78-year-old Kendal woman, were involved in the collision near the junction for the Killington road.
MORE TOP STORIES: The Kendal woman and her passenger, a 96-year-old woman, were both taken to Furness General Hospital for treatment for chest injuries.
The man was uninjured but went to hospital to be checked over.
