All set for Kendal Starwalk
PLACES are filling up fast ahead of next weekend’s Kendal StarWalk event.
The ninth annual night walk – organised by local charity CancerCare - offers participants the chance to run walk or jog either a five kilometre or 15km route around Kendal town centre on Saturday, May 9 to help raise vital funds to support South Lakeland families affected by cancer.
Around 500 StarWalkers are expected to take part this year and the event starts at 7.30pm with entertainment at Kendal Leisure Centre before the walkers set off at 9pm.
