A WALKER suffered a dislocated knee after her 30kg dog Hugo ran into her ‘at speed’ in Grizedale Forest.
North West Ambulance Service and Coniston Mountain Rescue Team were called out to help the woman at 12.20pm on Tuesday.
She and her partner had been walking below Carron Crag, the highest point in Grizedale Forest, when Hugo accidentally ran into her and dislocated her knee.

The woman was given pain relief at the scene and made as comfortable as possible until the ambulance arrived on scene. She was taken to Furness General Hospital.
“Hugo was forgiven,” said a Coniston MRT spokesperson.
