A GROUP of young campers were marched back to their site by officers to clean up in the Lake District yesterday (May 23).
Cumbria Police were called to the camp at Low Wood, Coniston, at 10.15am to report 'extreme littering' by some campers who were packing up their tents to leave.
Two officers attended as the group were descending and sent them back up to finish cleaning up, which they did.
