Man arrested on suspicion of assault and possession of knuckle dusters at The Smokehouse in Kendal
A MAN at a popular Kendal night spot has been arrested on suspicion of assault causing actual bodily harm and possessing an offensive weapon.
Police were called to The Smokehouse, in Smokehouse Yard, Stricklandgate, after reports that a man had been assaulted during an incident which took place at 11.57pm on Sunday, May 24.
They arrested a man, aged 43 and from Carlisle, on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm and possessing a set of knuckle dusters.
He has been bailed until June 22.
