A MAN has been charged with affray following an incident in Kendal town centre on the afternoon of Tuesday, May 26.
Carl George Hodgson, 31, from Windermere, appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court at 10am today (Thursday, May 28).
He pleaded not guilty to the charge of committing affray by using or threatening unlawful violence towards other persons in such a way that would cause fear for personal safety and was accompanied by defence solicitor Mr John Batty.

He was granted conditional bail and will appear at Carlisle Crown Court on Monday, June 15.
