A MOTHER is claiming victory after she begged a supermarket to move magazines featuring semi-naked women out of sight of her young sons and other children.
Jeanet Price said families would applaud the move by Kendal's Asda store to shift the so-called lads' mags' to the top shelf, following her pleas.
Mrs Price, of Kendal, who has two boys aged six and three, said that children should be allowed to hold on to their innocence for as long as possible.
She was thrilled when Asda, where she does her weekly shop, agreed to her request to move the magazines, including Zoo, Nuts, FHM and Maxim, to the top shelf.
