RESIDENTS and businesses in Crooklands were left without electricity after a power cut on Sunday.
Electricity North West confirmed that 23 customers initially lost power at 12.30pm on Sunday due to a fault on its overhead power lines.
Power was restored via a generator four hours later.
A spokesperson for Electricity North West said: “In order to temporarily repair the problem and enable us to fit the generator, we had to switch off power to a further 458 customers at 2.23pm, “But, we restored power to 390 of those customers by 2.25pm and all customers were restored by 4.55pm.
“The next day (Monday), we completed permanent repairs, meaning we had to temporarily switch off power to 91 customers at 3.30pm - all customers were restored just after 5pm.
“We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
