TWO tortoises worth more than £500 have been stolen from secure pens in a garden of a home in Storth.
Police said a Greek marginated tortoise, a protected species, aged three to four years old and worth £150 was taken between 10am and 12pm on Thursday (July 2) from the property in Burntbarrow.
And between 10am and 10.05am today (July 3) a very large Red-footed tortoise aged between seven and eight and worth £400 was taken from the pen.
