PUPILS at Ingleton Primary School have taken their first steps in learning to save lives with defibrillator training as part of the village's Save A Life project.
Instructor Laraine Sullivan showed 23 year six children how to use the defibrillator, which is shortly to be installed at the school, and other cardio-pulmonary resuscitation techniques in a session.
Fifteen teachers and school staff have also received training as part of the programme. A training session for villagers took place in the community centre last Friday and the next is scheduled for August 1.
