A 48-YEAR-old woman slipped and injured her leg while walking on the path by Aira Force waterfall yesterday afternoon (Monday).
Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team were called by paramedics at 1.15pm to help evacuate the lady, who had suffered a lower leg injury.
She was treated on scene by North West Ambulance Service staff before being transferred to the Team's stretcher and carried from the location to the waiting ambulance.
