STAFF at Hornby-based investment management company Gore Browne are sharing their offices with teddy bears and other squidgy creatures for an upcoming ‘teddy tombola’
Organised to raise money for Rosemere Cancer Foundation, the tombola will be at the Lunesdale Show, Kirkby Lonsdale, on August 11.
Investment managers Adrian Williams and Rachel Tilburn are in charge of amassing as many soft toys as possible.
Adrian said: “As the show is such a popular family event in the middle of the school holidays, we want to do something that will appeal to all age groups. A teddy tombola seems perfect and the more teddies we have, the more winners there will be.
“If anyone has any soft toys that are clean and in good condition that they would like us to re-home via the tombola, we would be very grateful and would welcome them to our office.”
Gore Browne is based at Unit 3, Strands Barn, Strands Farm Lane in Hornby.
