CITY are set to get their wish with UniBond League bosses hinting the Dolly Blues could be in their league set up next season.

City, pushed to the point of extinction after a disastrous take over by taxi driver Charlie Moore, faced demotion to the depths of the North West Counties Division Two as a result of going into administration.

That was the only option available after shareholders, led by Mick Hoyle, ousted Moore in November. But now the UniBond League wants more clubs as part of a reorganisation for next season - and City will be part of UniBond North after Consett Town indicated they want to stay in the Northern League.
