AN Armathwaite man has escaped serious injury after his car collided with a wall at Selside, near Kendal, yesterday (Tuesday).
Police said the incident happened at 4.20pm when a green Citroen was in collision with a wall at High Burrow Bridge, causing approximately 15ft of the wall to collapse.
The driver of the vehicle was taken to Royal Lancaster Infirmary for a check up.
