The Asset Vehicle Management Rally Team driven by Eddie Meek and co-driven by father Dave had a challenging time on last weekend's Pirelli International Rally.
the event, which was held at Carlisle and used Kielder Forest, got the better of Eddie's Ford Puma. On the second stage midway through he took a corner a bit on the fast side and ended riding up a bank and ripping the front brake caliper off, damaging the front cross member.
On the third stage they got a bit close to the trees and ripped the back bumper clean off.
It wasn't until they got to service they realised how much damage was caused to the under side of the Puma.
Even with the hard work by the team mechanic Simon they were unable to carry on, thinking it safer to call it a day.
The team said the stages were very fast, good fun and they look forward to doing the event next year.
