AN ULVERSTON man has pleaded guilty to causing death by dangerous driving.
Kyle Braithwaite, 24, was due to stand trial at Preston Crown Court today (September 14) having previously pleaded not guilty to causing death and serious injury by dangerous driving earlier this year.
The court heard the defendant, of Beckside Road, changed his pleas to guilty on the basis that he was driving at a speed, estimated at no less than 52mph, in circumstances that would have been obvious to a competent and careful driver that his standard of driving was dangerous.
