MOTORISTS are geing warned of traffic disruption in Barrow-in-Furness on Monday morning when BAE Systems transports a giant construction 'jig' through the town.
The jig, used to aid nuclear submarine construction, will be transported from Associated British Ports to Shipyard Gate via Ramsden Dock Road, Michaelson Road and Bridge Road at 9.15am.
A BAE spokesman said: "The movement is due to last approximately 30 minutes and there will be minor disruption to traffic during these times.
"Car parking along the centre of Michaelson Road will be cordoned off from midnight on Sunday. Drivers are urged to remove their vehicles before this time."
