ROBBERS stole thousands of pounds in cash and left a man with facial injuries during an incident at a residential house in Barrow, police say.
At 7.50pm yesterday (Thursday, October 8) police were called to Sutherland Street after reports that £2,000 had been stolen from inside the house and a 56-year-old male had been hurt.
The man was treated at the scene and did not require hospital treatment, according to police.
Police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen three males dressed in dark clothing and balaclavas in the area to come forward.
