CORONATION Street star Ryan Thomas has been arrested for being drunk and disorderly outside a Bowness-on-WIndermere nightclub.
The 31-year-old, who plays Jason Grimshaw in the popular TV soap, was involved in a 'scuffle' inside the Wheelhouse Club and Lounge, according to an eye witness.
The witness told the Gazette that five police vans attended the scene, on Glebe Road, at 1.09am on Sunday, October 25, and revelers were barred from exiting the popular night spot while the incident was being dealt with.
Thomas was taken to Kendal police station and was handed a fixed penalty notice and fined £90.
The actor had been in the Lakes with a group of friends and earlier Tweeted a picture of rolling hills to his 94,000 followers.
He is scheduled to leave Coronation Street next summer after more than a decade on the show.
