A GIRL was stretchered off Kendal Castle after slipping down a steep slope following last night's fireworks display.
Kendal Mountain Rescue Team said they were called by Cumbria Police at about 8.30pm.
A spokesperson said: "With the ground being steep and very slippery we used our stretcher as a sled to bring the casualty down."
