A590 reopened after four vehicle crash - one driver in hospital
EMERGENCY services have reopened the A590 after a four vehicle crash on Sunday night.
The stretch of road between Ulverston and Swarthmoor was closed after a Vauxhall Corsa, Peugeot Sport, Ford Focus and a Ford Fiesta were involved in the collision at 7.28pm.
The driver of the Ford Fiesta was taken to Furness General Hospital with injuries, although they are not believed o be life-threatening.
During the incident a lamp post fell across the road but this has now been removed.
