THE Food Porn Awards has launched a search to find the best looking food from restaurants, pubs, bars and eateries across the region.
With only two weeks until the deadline, the competition has already received entries from celebrity chef Simon Rimmer and head chef at Manchester House Aiden Byrne.
Contrary to what the name might suggest, organisers say they are not looking for any rude or naughty shaped dishes, just beautiful images of great looking food.
Twelve finalists will be chosen by a select judging panel and they will move through to the second round where they will be asked to re-create their dishes in the Food Porn Awards kitchen.
STM Photography’s professional food photographers will work with the chefs to capture their creations and the selection of images will be presented for review in front of the judging panel and a final winner will be revealed at the Food Porn Awards exhibition in March 2016, alongside all of the finalists’ work.
The Food Porn Awards exhibition is to be a fringe event to the Northern Restaurant and Bar Show 2016 and online entry closes on Monday, December 7, at 4pm.
