Firefighters called to garage and chimney fires in Kendal
FIREFIGHTERS were called to deal with two incidents in Kendal yesterday.
At 4.20pm crews were called to Waterside to a report of a fire in a garage.
The fire involved a small quantity of rubbish inside a garage which they put out using a hose reel jet.
At 7pm they were called to a chimney fire in Romney Road.
The crew used a thermal imaging camera to check the area and extinguished the fire with specialist equipment.
