ALL lanes of the M6 have now re-opened after a vehicle overturned earlier today.
Two lanes of the northbound carriageway of the M6 between Tebay and Shap were closed earlier today.
One lane was also closed on the opposite carriageway - but by around 1.45pm the vehicle was recovered and the road re-opened.
It is believed the vehicle is a lorry and was blown over by the strong winds.
Meanwhile, the A66 is closed to high-sided and vulnerable vehicles such as HGVs, caravans and motorcylists, between Bowes and Brough, due to the winds.
