POLICE and ambulance crews were called-out to find a woman lying in Blackhall Road yesterday evening.
Emergency services rushed to the scene at 4.55pm on Monday, November 30, after an incident involving a black Vauxhall Astra and a female pedestrian.
The pedestrian was taken to Furness General Hospital with minor injuries and the driver of the Astra, a 32-year-old woman from Kendal, is believed to be uninjured.
Two police vans and two ambulances attended the scene and traffic was delayed for around half an hour before the road was cleared.
