South Cumbria Magistrates' Court
A MAN was ordered to pay £300 in fines and costs after pleading guilty to stealing £34 worth of stationery from a Rymans store.
Westmorland Shopping Centre security guards found the items on Daniel Shad, 39, of Kirkstone Close, Ambleside, after staff saw him acting suspiciously.
He was fined £45 and ordered to pay £255 in costs and surcharges.
