THE Co-op has opened a pop-up shop next to its store in Appleby, which will be closed until the New Year because of flood damage.
The temporary shop which opened for business at the weekend was officially opened by the Mayor of Appleby Cllr Hugh Potts.
The mobile kiosk measures four metres by 2.3 metres and stocks around 120 of the community retailer’s most popular grocery products
It will open from 7am-6pm until the store re-opens.
