CUMBRIA Police have appealed for help to trace a 27 year old man, missing from Barrow-In-Furness.

Officers say they are 'concerned for the welfare' of Gari Charles Ross, from Walney, who was last seen around 11am on Thursday at the Furness General Hospital.

He is described as a white male, 5ft 8” tall, of slim build with a closely shaved hairstyle. He also has a scar on the right hand side of neck.

He was last seen wearing a red Nike hoody, blue jeans and a blue baseball cap.

It is believed he was travelling in a white transit van, registration RF03 UVE, this has red writing on the front, side and rear which says 'ROSS PLASTERING'.

Police are concerned for his wellbeing and appeal to anyone who may have seen Mr Ross to call Cumbria Police on 101.

Police would also urge Mr Ross if he sees this appeal to let police know he is safe and well.
