AN EXHIBITION from Amsterdam's Anne Frank Museum is heading to South Durham in January.
Newton Aycliffe-based Greenfield Arts is hosting the travelling Anne Fran Outreach display of photographs and text which is coming to Greenfield Community College.
"This is a great opportunity for our students to see the exhibition and explore the Second World War, prejudice, compassion and respect," said a Greenfields Arts spokesperson.
The exhibition was held at the college's Sunnydale Campus, in Shildon, in December while students had the opportunity to train as ambassadors.
They worked to create interpretation material that will be shown in its last week of display at Greenfield Arts.
Local primary schools are also visiting the exhibition and working with an artist to create individual responses that will be displayed alongside.
Anne Frank: A History for Today will be open to the public from January 7 to January 27 when a celebration of the ambassadors' work will be held to coincide with Holocaust Memorial Day.
