Kendal Post Office closed due to staff shortages
KENDAL'S main Post Office is closed today because of sickness and a shortage of staff.
The Post Office on Stricklandgate was closed with a notice on the door saying the reason for closure was 'unforeseen circumstances'.
Customers are advised to use Sandylands Post Office as an alternative.

A spokesman at another South Lakeland Post Office said: "I think they are rather slim on the ground for staff. They were closed last Saturday and the Saturday before.
"Rather than inconvenience customers they have just closed the door."
