Valley Drive, Kendal, closed due to building fire
A MAN has died after a house fire at a property in Kendal yesterday (Wednesday) police have confirmed.
Emergency services attended the blaze on Valley Drive after being called out at 3.45pm.

A man, aged 68, from Kendal, was taken to Royal Lancaster Infirmary where he was later pronounced dead.
A fire service investigation is under way into the cause of the fire.
Police say there are no suspicious circumstances regarding his death and the Coroner has been informed.
