FIREFIGHTERS are tackling a fire above a travel agents on Boroughgate in Appleby.
An eyewitness said three fire engines were in attendance and debris was falling from the roof as firefighters tried to put out the blaze.

Crews were called at 4.20pm to the blaze, which has spread to the roofspace.
A fire service spokesperson said everyone had been evacuated from the three storey building.
