This lovely photograph of the sun setting over Low Wood Bay was taken by Westmorland Gazette reader Phil Parker.
Mr Parker, 63, was born in Ambleside and has worked in most of the local quarries. He now lives in Kendal and works for H&V up the Kentmere valley.
