CUMBRIAN-based national touring Shakespeare company, The Three Inch Fools, are running workshops for young aspiring actors and musician. The workshops, which are being held on the outskirts of Penrith, will be led by an experienced team of professional actors with a wealth of industry experience, and aim to engage and excited budding local talent with a quirky and innovative take on Shakespeare and his plays. Promoting an accessible approach to theatre and an ethos of dramatic fun, the seasoned performers bring a fresh and vibrant perspective to Britain's most celebrated playwright.

With their highly imaginative performances The Three Inch Fools take Shakespeare back to its lively roots, and their Easter workshops will do just the same - combining drama with live musical performance as participants explore the endless

possibilities of performing Shakespeare in innovative ways, developing their skills and extending their experience. Company co-founder James Hyde, explained: "Our programme of workshops in the North is part of our real desire

to offer valuable opportunities to young people interested in acting and performance, as well as bringing to life the truly remarkable writings of William Shakespeare and inspiring the next generation to perform his works with endless creativity and

Workshops run from March 29- April 1, 10am-4pm at Skirsgill Park House, Penrith (ages 14-16, school years 10 and 11), and from April 4-7, 10am-4pm, at Hunter Hall School, Penrith (ages 16-18, school years 12 and 13).
