ONE of Kendal's most famous businesses is celebrating getting back on its feet after December's floods.
Romney's Mint Cake is close to full production again and will soon be producing two tonnes of the world-renowned confectionery every week.
In a show of solidarity with Kendal's twin town, Rinteln, who are in the midst of Europe's refugee crisis, Managing Director John Barron sent some mint cake to Germany.
Mayor Chris Hogg and Kendal Town FC's mascot 'Minty' were on hand to wish Romney's all the best as business gets back to normal.
