Motorcyclist airlifted to hospital following collision
A MOTORCYCLIST was airlifted to hospital after a collision with a car on the A65 at Sedgwick today (April 16).
Police were called to the accident between Shyreakes Lane and Helm Lane just after midday.
The motorcyclist was reportedly treated by paramedics.
A spokesperson for the Cumbria Police has reported that the motorcyclist was walking but was taken to Royal Preston Hospital by helicopter.
The affected road is now open.
