A MOTORIST who drove at a group of people in Bowness-on-Windermere - injuring one of them - was warned he could now be sent to prison.
Nathaniel Peter John Lockie, 27, appeared at Carlisle Crown Court today.
He pleaded guilty to one count of dangerous driving following an incident at The Glebe on June 7 last year.
Lockie was said to have driven an Audi A4 at a number of people who had been involved in a fracas. The court heard this vehicle struck Boris Gaj, who was left with a large red mark on his right leg.
MORE TOP STORIES: Judge Tony Lancaster adjourned the case and asked for a pre-sentence report to be prepared on Lockie - a man of previous good character.
But Lockie, of Norwood Avenue, Southport, was told by the judge that all options, including immediate custody, would be open.
He is due to be sentenced on May 27. In the meantime he was remanded on bail.
