A WINDERMERE woman who was found guilty of harassment has been given a restraining order.
Carol Maher, 47, of Broad Street, Windermere, was found guilty by South Cumbria Magistrates' Court of harassing Andrew Moore between October 4 and November 17 2015.
The trial on April 12 revealed she had sent several letters, texts, telephone calls and gifts to Mr Moore, who she met on dating site Plenty of Fish, and then made visits to his house having been verbally warned to stop.

The court heard how Maher breached a formal police warning of harassment when she sent a final letter to Mr Moore on November 17 informing him she wanted no further contact.
In addition to a one-year restraining order, Maher was also ordered to carry out 80 hours of community work, pay costs of £600 and a victim surcharge of £60.
