CARS parked on pavements are causing problems for disabled people using mobility scooters in Carnforth, councillors heard.
Cllr Sharon Quinn told Carnforth Town Council that scooter users had to travel on the road due to parking on pavements. People pushing prams or using wheelchairs were also affected, she said, and visibility was poor for people crossing the road. Cllr Dougie Taylor added his voice to the concerns.
The town council's road safety committee is to meet on June 1.
