VETERAN broadcaster John Sergeant visits the Lancaster Canal and Carnforth railway station in tomorrow's episode of Barging Round Britain, on ITV.
In the show, to be aired at 8pm on Friday (May 6) John is seen cruising along the section of the canal from Tewitfield to Preston. He also re-enacts his favourite scene from classic film Brief Encounter, at Carnforth station.
