LIBRARY users in Silverdale, Bolton-le-Sands and Carnforth face months of uncertainty as a consultation on the future of dozens of Lancashire County Council properties looks set to begin next week.
In a bid to save £200 million, the council is proposing the closure of 106 premises, with services to be offered from 'neighbourhood centres' instead.
A 12-week public consultation looks set to be approved by Cabinet today (Thursday) with final decisions expected in September.
