TWO Kendal men who admit being involved in a cannabis supply plot must wait until mid-July to learn their fate.

Jack Dawson and Travis Chaplow, both aged 21, are said to have teamed up to provide the class B drug to others in their home town.

Their offence came to light after police arrested the pair on August 6 last year and found each in possession of cannabis. Mobile phone data was later analysed and revealed they had committed a more serious crime.

At Carlisle Crown Court today, Dawson pleaded guilty to being concerned in supplying cannabis to another between April and August last year.

MORE TOP STORIES: Chaplow had admitted this charge at a previous hearing, and also to offering to supply cocaine, and supplying ecstasy.

Both men listened from the dock at today's hearing as Recorder Paul O'Brien adjourned their case until 14th July.

The pair are due to be sentenced at the crown court on that date, and in the meantime were remanded on bail.

But Dawson, of Sandylands Road, and Chaplow, of Nether Street, both Kendal, were told by the judge: "The fact that you have bail, of course, is no indication of the ultimate sentence."
