AUSTWICK will hold its annual street market and cuckoo festival on Monday.
The centre of the village will be closed to traffic as it is taken over by dray horses, a harpist, a bagpipe player, a man on stilts, some adorable farm animals, two bands, scores of fell racers and crowds of people.
Cuckoo creations will be dotted around the village.
"It’s a day to enjoy a Dales village at its best with long-established traditions respected and 21st century vibrancy celebrated," said a village spokesman.
