A WOMAN has admitted stealing more than £8,000 while working for the Nurture Lakeland charity.
Sarah Helen Robertson, 34, pocketed the cash when in charge of finances at the South Lakeland-based environmental organisation. This promotes responsible tourism across Cumbria.
At Carlisle Crown Court today, Robertson pleaded guilty to a theft which was committed between June, 2013, and November, 2014. The offence came to light after a discrepancy was noted while she was on maternity leave.
