HAVE you decided which way to vote in the Referendum yet? Are you going for In or for Out? Or, have you still to make up you mind? It is not an easy decision, is it? So many different facts to consider and so many different opinions! Perhaps you have decided not to vote at all?

The Christian faith teaches that there is one question we will all have to decide about, sooner or later. What will we do with Jesus, who claimed to be the Son of God and saviour of mankind? Will we believe in Him or deny that we know Him; love Him or ignore Him; follow Him or walk away from Him? It is our choice, our decision.

How can we decide about Jesus? By looking at the facts about Him; by reading God's word about Him in the Bible; by talking to those who know Him themselves; by visiting a helpful and loving church.

If we decided to go for Jesus, then, like many people before us and around us, Jesus will forgive our sin and give to us eternal life. He will also give us His Holy Spirit, to be with us and in us, not just for today but for always. That means we will know His love, His strength, His joy and His peace for ever.

Deciding to vote in the referendum is important because the outcome will have important consequences for our country. Deciding to vote for Jesus is even more important because it will have eternal consequences for each and every one of us.
